BOGOTA WALK

Gunplay – Bogota

GUNPLAY! I think I wrote about him around 1 1/2 years ago, and his new material is as absurd and lethal as ever before. Heard Jump Out in Zürich two weeks ago - an ammo blast carneval MMG rap track, looney and violent but only in a comic strip way. On the mixtape he calls himself "Don Adolf Logan"... :P
I honestly don´t know what´s wrong with this guy...
But Bogota Walk is tight and continues his former "fascination" for parts of Latin America. Slight warning on the imagined success track recipe; repeating one phrase constantly. ("Tupacs Back", "Straight off the Boat", etc.)

DJ Pierre – I See U Haterz

"Do You Wanna Feel On Me"? This song was the start for an all around Dj Pierre madness at downtown ace. On "ThEEE MiXtApEEEE 2 (thats pronounced "twuu), this little gem of a home–produced song can be found.

AdonX - Party´s On

10.000 Hungarians on a beach party at the Balaton lake. Prosecco and "bacardy colas" sprayed all over the plastic sunglasses and thong-tanned asses. A brutal, yet lovely and catchy Euro summer anthem – WizzAir anyone?

SNOOP DOGG EURO TEKNO

So weird: since rich a$$ Snoop has plenty of time to get down wit whatever, his Soundcloud is full of chart house edit trax, and even a euro disco mix he put out. He be steaming to this European shit. Whatever it takes to keep being inspired as an artist. Celebreties have moderated Twitter accounts run by a paid assistant, but this? Unleashed NRJ. Mixing it up in the livingroom. It´s definitely an odd take – what the aging rap artists consider hype these days. Stay in the game

Stick Wit U

Since Harry Fraud got a Soundcloud account there´s been more chances to explore his Ted Nugent-like melancholic "Coke Boyz movement" production style, being behind many tracks from French Montana etc. Absolute top NYC style in my opinion. Its charming when Chinx Drugz drops the whole faded VIP style, and sings about a broken relationship and communication. More of this please. Be daring and don´t fall into the whole trap-trap directly.

Remember 2004: Back to the one-room apartment kitchen, thick PC laptop, and the grime wave hitting North Europe. Before Wiley and many more exelled in production skills, Jon E Cash´s instrumental tracks were always standing out (together with Terror Danjah´s "Frontline") as the most interesting direction UK music took at that time. Jon E Cash sort of invented his own sub-genre of UK Garage called Sub-Low. I still love this track and the lifestyle it represented at the moment.
